This means you’ll be relying on luck for this weapon to drop from activities. Why are you not using Sunshot? It's fantastic for making things go boom. Also, note that Sunshot’s catalyst increases the gun’s range and stability. With waves of enemies in Gambit often close together, getting the Sunshot train going will make quick work of your foes. Oh, and each explosive kill can chain to any nearby enemy.įor Gambit, and like Null Composure, Sunshot’s chain explosive capabilities are fantastic. Sunburn allows the weapon to fire explosive rounds and highlight damaged targets, and then Sun Blast disintegrates your enemies in a fiery explosion. Sunshot has two exotic perks that work in tandem. To convince you to use this hand cannon, even though it has been in the game since release, here first are the base stats: Sunshot is an exotic hand cannon in the Energy slot, and it’s one of my favorite weapons in the franchise. Use Xur’s Fated Engram if you don’t yet have it - it guarantees an exotic to drop that you don’t already have. This means that you can either get it from completing activities or Xur. Huckleberry is Tex Mechanica, which means it's automatically excellent. Pair that with Rampage and Huckleberry lets you continually chew through enemies like a knife through butter. As you hold down the trigger, the rate of fire and recoil increases while kills with the weapon reload the entire magazine (with the catalyst). However, consider its perk, Ride the Bull. Huckleberry is often overshadowed by other such submachine guns as Shayura’s Wrath and Multimach CCX. However, when you need a gun to clear enemies as quickly as possible, Huckleberry is a very solid option. One of my favorite Destiny weapons that you don’t see all too often. Especially in Gambit.Īt number eight, we have the exotic submachine gun, Huckleberry. Nice and easy, Le Monarque can also be acquired from the Monument to Lost Lights kiosk in the Tower. Le Monarque is the bow for almost every activity. So if you’re rapidly dispatching enemies, don’t be surprised to see your health regenerating! How do I get Le Monarque? It is also good to note that with the Witch Queen expansion, Le Monarque was given a catalyst in the form of Unrelenting. And with the intrinsic Snapshot, slinging arrows is your easy path to success. This is a fantastic way to quickly clear a group of enemies in Gambit. And precision hits with said arrows spread poison to nearby enemies. Le Monarque’s exotic perk, Poison Arrows, does just what it says. An exotic bow in the energy slot, this weapon leaves guardians weak or dead in the Crucible. While not overpowered, Le Monarque is undoubtedly top tier. You just need an ascendant shard or two, some materials, and a mountain of glimmer. This exotic sniper rifle can easily be purchased from the Monument to Lost Lights kiosk in the Tower. Sounds great for boss damage, right? Yes, but consider consuming your magazine and then invading the enemy team to one-shot guardians to the body. With four bullets in the magazine, the exotic perk Honed Edge allows you to convert said magazine into one round with increased range and damage. Such is why, in strictly PvE content, Izanagi’s is so coveted. Izanagi’s Burden hits hard, and each shot sounds like a hammer hitting an anvil. Let’s kick things off with its base stats: And Izanagi’s Burden, the exotic sniper rifle in the Kinetic slot, actually shines while invading. General add-clear, invading, or damaging the Primeval. There are three reasons to sport a weapon in Gambit. Drewsky + MP Edits show what Izanagi's Burden can do!
